Job Description:
Responsibilities
System Installation: Set up CCTV surveillance cameras, biometric or card-based access control panels, intercoms, and public address (PA) systems.
Structured Cabling: Run, terminate, and test low-voltage wiring, fiber optics, and Cat6 cables through walls and conduits.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose connectivity issues, device malfunctions, or integration errors and perform component replacements or repairs.
Maintenance: Execute routine preventive maintenance, firmware updates, and system testing to minimize hardware downtime.
Documentation: Read technical blueprints, update wiring schematics, and prepare service reports for completed jobs.
Compliance: Ensure all site work complies with local electrical and occupational safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Experience: Typically 2–4 years of hands-on experience in ELV systems installation.
Skills: Strong understanding of IP networking, IP addressing, and system integration.
Physical & Site Demands: Ability to work in varying site environments, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
