Job Description:

• High-Voltage Diagnostics: Utilize specialized OBD-II scanners and diagnostic software to evaluate battery packs, isolate high-voltage faults, and track error codes. 
• Battery Pack Maintenance: Conduct cell balancing procedures, evaluate state-of-charge (SoC) mapping, and repair Battery Management Systems (BMS). 
• Powertrain Repair: Replace or overhaul electric motors, inverters, DC-DC converters, and onboard charging hardware. 
• Software System Updates: Flash control modules, run system calibrations, and implement over-the-air firmware updates using manufacturer-specific tech portals.
• Thermal Management Care: Service liquid cooling circuits and specialized HVAC components that regulate battery and cabin temperatures. 
• Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to high-voltage safety rules, establish safe workspace isolation, and always wear Category III/IV Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

• Advanced Electrical Analysis: Deep capability to interpret complex wiring schematics and utilize digital multimeters or oscilloscopes. 
• Regenerative Braking Systems: Familiarity with specialized mechanical systems that convert kinetic braking energy into stored electrical power.
• Computer Literacy: Fluency in navigating modern dealer management systems (DMS) and proprietary original equipment manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic networks.
• Precision and Safety Mindset: High awareness of electrical risks, arc flash hazards, and chemical handling procedures for lithium-ion units.
