Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Production: Weigh, measure, mix, and prepare ingredients, baking, and decorating pastry items according to recipes.
  • Station Management: Set up, maintain, and break down the workstation, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
  • Support: Assist Demi Chefs or Chefs de Partie with daily tasks, inventory, and deliveries.
  • Quality Control: Monitor product quality, including checking temperatures of appliances and food.
     
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pastry setting, often 1–3 years for specialized positions.
  • Education: Culinary certificate or diploma from a recognized institution is often preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
