Job Description:

• Test Execution: Perform manual or automated functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing to validate that software/hardware meets specifications.
• Defect Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring defects are reported and verified.
• Shift Coordination: Manage testing activities specifically for the assigned shift, ensuring continuity in 24/7 operations.
• Performance & Stability Testing: Monitor and evaluate system performance, particularly under high load, for stability.
• Environment Setup: Configure test data and environments (web, mobile, or hardware) to ensure readiness for testing.
• Documentation: Maintain test records, update test cases, and provide detailed reports for the next shift or stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with developers and product managers to resolve issues and verify fixes. 

• Experience: Generally 2+ years of experience in manual or automated testing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database validation, familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger), and knowledge of Java/Python for automation.
• Tools: Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and automation frameworks (Selenium, JMeter).
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility: Ability to work rotating, night, or weekend shifts.
