Job Description:

• Inspection & Diagnosis: Conduct internal and external blade inspections using NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods to detect damages, such as cracks, leading-edge erosion, or lightning damage.
• Repair Work: Perform structural and surface repairs using composite materials (fiberglass, epoxy, resin, foam).
• Access & Safety: Scale wind towers, use rope access equipment (abseiling), and set up platforms to reach blades.
• Documentation: Create detailed reports on blade conditions, repairs completed, material usage, and time tracking.
• Documentation & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain, calibrate tools, and manage PPE. 
   

• Technical Skills: Experience with composite materials (fiberglass/resin) and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Certifications: Often require GWO (Global Wind Organisation) training and working at heights certification.
• Physical Demands: Must be comfortable working at extreme heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to, and understanding of, safety procedures  (PPE, lock-out/tag-out).
