Responsibilities

Access Control: Manage entry and exit points, verify credentials (IDs/permits), and prevent unauthorized access.
Patrolling: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the assigned area to ensure physical security and identify hazards.
Monitoring: Operate and oversee security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and gates.
Emergency Response: Act swiftly during fires, medical incidents, or security breaches. Coordinate evacuations and assist emergency services.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, visitors, and write precise incident reports for management and Dubai Police.
Conflict Management: Professionally de-escalate conflicts or disturbances and assist staff and visitors.

Qualifications & Requirements

SIRA Certificate: Mandatory completion of a SIRA-approved security training course (typically 5 to 7 days) and a passing grade on the written and practical assessments.
Background Check: Clear criminal record and a certificate of good conduct issued by Dubai Police.
Physical Standards: Must be physically fit, presentable, and capable of standing or walking for long periods.
Language Skills: Basic to fluent English communication skills (knowledge of Arabic is often an asset).
