Job Description:

• Preparation & Processing: Cleaning, scaling, gutting, deboning, and filleting various types of fish and shellfish using expert knife skills.
• Merchandising & Sales: Arranging seafood on ice displays, pricing products, and actively selling to customers.
• Customer Service: Advising on product selection, freshness, sustainability, and cooking methods.
• Inventory Management: Receiving deliveries, inspecting quality, and managing stock in cold storage.
• Safety & Hygiene: Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment, including properly cleaning tools and equipment. 
   

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of fish species,, seasonal availability, and expert knife skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in cold/wet environments and stand for long periods.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and, in some cases, basic math skills.
