Job Description:

• Perform Wheel Alignments: Measure and adjust camber, caster, and toe settings using advanced computerized systems.
• Inspect Vehicle Systems: Examine tires, steering rods, axles, shims, ball joints, and braking systems for safety defects.
• Conduct Diagnostic Tests: Test-drive client vehicles before and after maintenance to accurately troubleshoot and verify fixes.
• Execute Secondary Tire Services: Dismount, mount, patch, rotate, and balance tires on rims using shop machinery.
• Repair Suspensions: Install aftermarket kits, shock absorbers, struts, bushings, and springs when necessary.
• Communicate Findings: Partner with service advisors and fleet managers to explain part damage and give labor estimates.
• Document Services: Log accurate repair details, recorded values, labor hours, and specific parts used in shop tracking software.
• Maintain Shop Equipment: Clean, calibrate, and protect precise alignment racks, computers, and heavy hand tools. 

• Technical Proficiency: Absolute mastery of steering geometries and computerized alignment software (such as Hunter or Hofmann systems).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret tracking analytics and diagnose unusual tire wear patterns.
• Physical Fitness: Capacity to stand for long shifts, lift heavy wheels, and work safely underneath elevated vehicles.
• Attention to Detail: Precision targeting to meet strict millimeter-level calibration mandates from manufacturers.
• Communication: Clear verbal dialogue skills to explain mechanical issues to non-technical customers.
