• Water Quality Analysis: Collect water samples from lakes, rivers, or treatment plants. Perform microbiological and physicochemical tests to check for contaminants, pH levels, and dissolved oxygen. 
• System Maintenance & Repair: Install, inspect, and maintain hardware such as pipes, valves, water mains, and pumping stations. Manage chemical dosing and mixing equipment. 
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all daily operations and water parameters comply with government health and environmental regulations. Record and interpret data to create detailed technical reports. 
• Equipment Calibration: Properly maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot testing and treatment equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality. 

• Water Treatment Processes: Understanding of the water purification process (e.g., coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, and pH adjustment).
• Data & Software Proficiency: Ability to read/interpret monitoring systems, use diagnostic software, and control systems like SCADA.
• Mechanical & Piping Skills: Competence in assembling manufactured parts, detecting infrastructure flaws, and clearing blockages.
