Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct planned inspections, clean components, and execute major overhauls (e.g., full tear-downs) on centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating chillers.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify issues using gauges and digital analyzers; test electrical circuits, refrigerant levels, and compressor functions to minimize downtime.
- Repairs: Replace worn or broken parts (valves, pumps, motors) and handle refrigerant handling, leak detection, and system charging.
- Documentation: Maintain precise maintenance logs, track spare parts inventory, and complete work orders.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of vapor-compression cycles, chilled water loops, and cooling towers.
- Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to refrigerant handling protocols and safety regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS).
