Quality Control: Inspect work in progress to ensure it adheres to structural integrity standards, building codes, and project requirements.
Safety Enforcement: Conduct daily safety briefings, enforce OSHA/local safety regulations, and ensure proper usage of PPE and machinery.

Core Requirements & Skills

Experience: Typically requires 5 to 10+ years of hands-on construction experience, often working their way up from a skilled trade.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of civil construction methods, concrete pours, formwork (like Mivan), and excavation.
Leadership & Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve on-site conflicts, manage team morale, and adapt to delays caused by weather or supply issues.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore or Fieldwire) is increasingly required to track progress.
