Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and assign daily tasks to duct installers and technicians, promoting safe work practices.
Site Supervision: Monitor work progress, ensure compliance with blueprints and SMACNA standards, and troubleshoot installation issues.
Installation Oversight: Direct the fabrication, installation, and insulation of sheet metal, flexible, and insulated ducting.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure proper duct alignment, sealing, and hangers to prevent leaks and ensure optimal airflow.
Material Management: Prepare material requests and ensure appropriate storage and handling on-site.
Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades (e.g., electrical), reporting on progress and delays.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Technical Certification (ITI) in HVAC, Mechanical, or a related field.
Experience: 3–7 years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading HVAC drawings, schematics, and understanding HVAC design specifications.
Safety Expertise: Strong understanding of HSE regulations (Oil & Gas/Marine experience is often preferred).
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
