Responsibilities

Equipment Oversight: Direct the repair, maintenance, and setup of heavy D-Wall and piling equipment, including hydraulic grabs, trench cutters, drilling rigs, and desanding plants.
Slurry & Pumping Operations: Oversee the mechanical components of slurry circulation, desanding units, and tremie pipes to ensure proper trench stability and concrete pouring.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site. Manage Permits to Work (PTW) and conduct daily toolbox talks.
Resource Management: Coordinate equipment logistics and allocate mechanical personnel across multiple shifts. Manage spare parts inventory and forecast procurement needs.
Reporting & Handover: Track mechanical KPIs (e.g., equipment utilization, maintenance costs) and coordinate mechanical sign-offs during panel or station handovers.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 5 to 10+ years of maintenance and supervision experience, specifically with heavy construction, piling, or diaphragm wall rigs.
Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret complex mechanical P&IDs and technical manuals. Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and reviewing structural/layout drawings.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure, and familiarity with multicultural, multinational construction teams.
